From getting your kids up and ready for the day, making breakfast for the family, packing school lunches, putting the washing on, feeding the dog – and that’s just the first 30 minutes of your day! Life as a mum can be so busy, that it can be easy to forget to look after yourself. We LOVE anything with a caramel or coconut flavour – and the two combined – is simply divine! These Coconut Caramel Bliss balls are a delicious snack and include sunflower seeds which are full of Vitamin E and magnesium.
These bliss balls are a great snack to keep in the fridge or freezer for a quick snack to grab on the run, or to enjoy with a cuppa. They’re even a big hit with the kids, so make a great addition to their school lunchbox, and contain no nuts, so perfect for those with nut allergies too.
Choc chip muesli bars are an old school favourite and loved by mums, just as much as kids!
This is a yummy recipe, full of lots of goodness – so much healthier than the store-bought muesli bars. They don’t have any of the nasty additives or artificial colours and don’t even require baking!
Simply mix all the ingredients together, press into your baking tray, and set them in the fridge. Once set, cut into bars and store in the fridge or freezer. The perfect mid-morning or afternoon snack, or great for a breakfast on the run.
